Peptide Spotlight: Thymosin Alpha 1

Don’t Get the Cold That’s Going Around

Primary Benefit: Successfully used to help Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B and malignant melanoma, chronic fatigue, and certain types of cancer. It is an incredibly strong immunomodulator, meaning it does wonders for enhancing the strength of your immune system.  Clinical trials suggest it may be useful in cystic fibrosis, septic shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome, peritonitis, acute cytomegalovirus infection, tuberculosis, severe acute respiratory syndrome, and lung infections in critically ill patients, and for chronic hepatitis B.  Helps reduce mortality in severe cases of COVID-19.

Benefits:

  • Significant repairing, restoring, and healing properties

  • Needed to maintain normal antimicrobial activity

  • Boosts mitochondrial function with increased ATP production

  • Thymus works by activating cell function and epigenetic gene expression

  • Stimulates wound healing by enhanced angiogenesis, cell migration, and stem cell differentiation

  • The thymus has anti-inflammatory properties and decreases inflammatory cytokines

  • Increases nitric oxide levels

  • Stimulates phagocytosis and autophagy

  • Increases antioxidant and glutathione production

  • Stimulate stem cell activity and proliferation

  • Helps maintain healthy GI mucosa and blood brain barrier permeability

  • Reduces microglial activation from toxins, EMFs, infections and alcohol

  • Binds and blocks the effects of neuro/endotoxins/electromagnetic toxins

  • Boosts NK function

  • Breaks down biofilms and granulomas

  • Reduce IL-6 induced immune and mitochondrial dysfunction

Doses: 3 - 10 per vial

Dosage:  1x a day for 3-10 days, repeated twice a year OR

1x daily for 3 -10 days before/during/after exposure to cold/flu/virus

Side Effects: Extremely safe, even showing fewer side effects than a placebo in rare cases.

Description: TA-1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide that is naturally produced in the thymus gland and was first discovered in 1972. Strengthens the immune system in numerous ways, such as increasing the production of cytotoxic T-cells. Tested across a wide variety of clinical trials since 1985, including 3000 patients ranging from 1 to 101 years old!

TA1 plays a key role in the control of immunity, tolerance, and inflammation. It regulates immune response via a primary action on the cells of the innate immune system and thus acts as an endogenous regulator of both inflammatory and adaptive immune responses.

TA-1's mechanism of action is straight forward, and involves stimulating the production of cytotoxic T cells. The peptide works at the most fundamental levels of the immune system to activate signaling pathways and stimulate the production of cytokines and other molecules which coordinate the activities of various cells in the immune system."

In one very recently published study, TA-1 administration was even shown to help reduce mortality in patients with severe COVID-19: "COVID-19 patients with the counts of CD8+ T cells or CD4+ T cells in circulation lower than 400/μL or650/μL, respectively, gain more benefits from Tα1. Tα1 reverses T cell exhaustion and recovers immune reconstitution through promoting thymus output during SARS-CoV-2 infection."
